In the spirit of building closer ties with the communities in which we work and live, Sharp and its employees play an active role in all types of local efforts.
For example, in New Jersey, home of Sharp's corporate headquarters, Sharp is a longtime sponsor of Cancer Care, Inc., raising money to help people cope with this devastating disease. We also contribute to local hospitals and foundations involved in breast cancer and AIDS research. Employee participation in annual blood drives, campaigns for "Toys for Tots" and food donations for the needy have become a tradition.

| Sharp Player of the Month |
Sharp combines sports and community giving with programs such as the Sharp Player of the Month. Sharp donates product to a charity/community organization selected by the leading player each month during the professional hockey, basketball and baseball seasons.
Sharp helped fund construction of the new Mahwah, New Jersey public library, is an annual contributor to local colleges, and participates in environmental events like Earth Day.
