| Sometimes I can feel air blowing and see light coming from below the door of the microwave oven when it is operating. Why?
| There is a fan that vents to the front of the oven just below the door. It is not necessary for the oven to seal so tightly that it will not emit light when the oven is turned on. Neither of these occurrences indicates a leakage of microwave energy. |

| Someone overcooked popcorn in the oven and there is a lingering odor. What can I do?
| Many strong food odors can be removed by placing a mixture of 3 cups of water, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 dozen whole cloves in the oven and bringing it to a rolling boil. Permit the mixture to cool in the oven without opening the door. The generated steam will help to remove the odor.

| How do I clean the inside of my oven? |
| Cleaning is easy because little heat is generated to the interior surfaces; therefore, there is no baking and setting of spills or spattering. To clean the interior surfaces, wipe with a soft cloth and warm water.
Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners or scouring pads. For heavier soil, use baking soda or a mild soap; rinse thoroughly with hot water. Never spray oven cleaners directly onto any part of the oven. |
